Ferrari World
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is the world's largest indoor theme park and home to Formula Rossa — the world's fastest roller coaster, reaching 240km/h in 4.9 seconds. The park has over 40 rides and attractions themed around Ferrari and Italian culture, including the Flying Aces (the world's tallest non-inverting loop), the Fiorano GT Challenge and the immersive Ferrari factory tour. It is the finest theme park in the Middle East.
Yas Waterworld
Yas Waterworld is one of the finest waterparks in the world — 45 rides, slides and attractions spread across a beautifully themed park inspired by the legend of a pearl diver. The Dawwama (the world's largest tornado waterslide), the Bandit Bomber (a suspended roller coaster over water) and the Liwa Loop (the first hydro-magnetic waterslide in the Middle East) are among the most thrilling attractions.
Warner Bros. World
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is one of the most immersive theme parks in the world — six themed lands featuring DC Super Heroes (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Justice League), Cartoon Junction (Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry) and Dynamite Gulch. The park has 29 rides, shows and attractions and is the most family-friendly theme park in Abu Dhabi.
Yas Marina Circuit
The Yas Marina Circuit is the home of the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix — one of the most spectacular circuits in the world, with the unique Yas Viceroy Hotel straddling the circuit. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (held in November/December) is the final race of the F1 season and one of the most glamorous events in motorsport. The circuit also offers driving experiences, karting and cycling year-round.

Yas Island has an excellent dining and nightlife scene — the Yas Marina has a string of waterfront restaurants and bars, and the W Abu Dhabi hotel has some of the finest rooftop bars in the UAE. Yas Mall
Yas Mall is the largest shopping mall in Abu Dhabi — 400+ shops, 60+ restaurants and a 20-screen cinema, all connected to the Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld car parks. The mall has all the major international brands as well as a large food court and a children's entertainment area. It is the most convenient shopping destination on Yas Island.
Etihad Arena
Etihad Arena is the largest indoor entertainment venue in the UAE — a 18,000-seat arena on Yas Island hosting major concerts, sporting events and shows. The arena has hosted world-class acts including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé. The Yas Island location makes it easy to combine a concert with a stay at one of the island's hotels.
Practical Tips
Yas Island is 30 minutes from Dubai by road and 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi city centre. The W Abu Dhabi — Yas Island and the Yas Island Rotana are the best-located hotels. A 3-day Yas Island pass (Ferrari World + Yas Waterworld + Warner Bros. World) offers excellent value. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend (November) requires booking well in advance.
