Not every holiday is protected in exactly the same way. FCK IT BOOK IT works with a number of established travel companies and trusted travel partnerships. The financial protection that applies to your booking depends on the holiday you choose, the supplier, and the type of booking.
We believe you should always know who you are booking with and what protection applies before you travel. This page explains how it works.
Important: Please do not assume that every holiday advertised by FCK IT BOOK IT has identical financial protection. Your booking confirmation and, where applicable, your ATOL Certificate will confirm the specific arrangements that apply to your booking. If you are unsure, please ask us before you book.
Who Is FCK IT BOOK IT?
FCK IT BOOK IT is an independent UK travel agency. We work with a number of established travel suppliers, tour operators, cruise companies and trusted travel partnerships to offer customers access to a wide range of holidays and travel services.
Depending on the holiday you book, FCK IT BOOK IT may act as a travel agent on behalf of a supplier or tour operator, or in certain circumstances as a package organiser. The role we play — and the financial protection that applies — will depend on the specific booking.
Before or at the time of booking, we will make clear who is providing the travel arrangements and what financial protection applies to your booking.
Financial Protection — How It Works
New Travel Holidays — ABTA P8763
FCK IT BOOK IT is an independent travel agency working in partnership with New Travel Holidays, an ABTA member under ABTA number P8763.
Through our trusted partnership arrangements with New Travel Holidays, we are able to offer customers access to a wide range of holidays and travel services while providing clear information about the financial protection applicable to each booking.
Where a booking is made through our New Travel Holidays partnership arrangement, the relevant protection arrangements associated with New Travel Holidays will apply to that booking.
ATOL Protection
ATOL (Air Travel Organiser's Licence) protection is a UK government-backed scheme administered by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). It protects customers who purchase ATOL-protected flight-inclusive packages from financial loss if the ATOL holder fails.
Where a holiday you book through FCK IT BOOK IT is ATOL protected, the applicable ATOL holder will be identified in your booking documentation and an ATOL Certificate will be provided where required by law. The ATOL Certificate will identify the specific ATOL holder and the arrangements covered.
Not all holidays include flights, and not all flight-inclusive arrangements are ATOL protected. ATOL protection applies only to applicable ATOL-protected arrangements sold by the relevant ATOL holder.
Advantage Travel Partnership
FCK IT BOOK IT also has a trusted partnership arrangement with Advantage Travel Partnership. Advantage is one of the UK's largest independent travel agent consortia.
Some of our specially repackaged holidays are sold through our Advantage Travel Partnership arrangements. Where applicable, the relevant Advantage financial protection will apply to the booking and the applicable protection details — including the relevant ATOL holder and ATOL number where applicable — will be confirmed in your booking documentation.
Other Trusted Travel Partners
FCK IT BOOK IT works with a wide range of trusted travel partners including tour operators, airlines, cruise companies, hotel suppliers, package holiday providers, dynamic packaging providers and specialist travel companies.
Because we work with a wide range of travel partners, the financial protection and contractual arrangements can differ depending on the holiday you choose. Where a holiday is booked through a particular trusted partner, the applicable protection provided by that partner will apply.
Before or at the time of booking, we will make clear who is providing the travel arrangements and what financial protection applies to your specific booking.
When FCK IT BOOK IT Acts as Agent Only
In many cases, FCK IT BOOK IT acts as a travel agent on behalf of a supplier or tour operator. In these circumstances, your contract for the travel arrangements is directly with the relevant supplier or tour operator, and the supplier's own booking conditions and applicable financial protection arrangements will apply.
Your booking documentation will identify the relevant supplier and confirm the applicable arrangements. If you are unsure who your contract is with, please ask us before you book.
